Seniors Aging and Meditation

Do you find that you, or a loved one who is dependent on you, are taking so many drugs that you are reluctant to add more medications in order to address problems like anxiety and discomfort? While you should always check with your doctor before making changes to your current drug routines, meditation could prove to be a safe alternative to increasing pain medication or taking additional meds to combat anxiety, sleeplessness or other problems that can come from the natural process of aging.

An additional benefit for care takers of elderly relatives is that as your loved one learns meditation you may find they become less anxious, this in turn may reduce your own anxiety about caring for them.
