I would like to give you a variety of different kinds of meditations to choose from, including those I am not personally familiar with. (I enjoy sitting meditations best because I find it easier to concentrate).
For people who have trouble sitting still for that long, this 3 minute video is for you π It gives general instructions for practicing a moving meditation, as well as written instructions you can print out. This simple easy to follow instruction video does not include a guided meditation, but rather just the βhow toβ instructions. This site also offers several other meditation instructions you may want to check out.

Thanks for sharing the video Connie! As a beginner to mediation it’s nice to know I don’t have to always sit. This is a practical option for me. And it was cool to hear that walking mediation can increase concentration during sitting meditation.

I liked the video – this is something I can incorporate into my life. I did like the disclaimer to be careful crossing the street. In my opinion, if you are being mindful you are more aware of what is going on around you.
Good stuff

Thank you for your comments Michael! Yes, I think the first few times one tries a moving meditation it is common to try and block out the outside world instead of simply paying more attention to the “inner world” hence the warning π After a bit of practice mindfulness without trying to block the outside world out comes more naturally.
